There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.” – Lord Byron

Nature has always been something I have treasured. Growing up in the city you do not get much of it. Those brief encounters are divine. Every curve color and breath. The hardest thing for Cody and I was to narrow down where we wanted to live. Every terrain has impeccable beauty. I know I need to see the leaves change and the snowflakes falling. Cody shies away from the cold. Our compromise is to go everywhere and live out the harsh months in more accommodable weather.

Along the way we want to keep you in as much awe as we will be. With blogs, pictures and videos we hope will inspire your need for adventure. We will highlight the creatures that cross our path, the rare, unusual, common, dangerous plants and animals, as well as the breathtaking landscapes. We want to keep you updated on how nature shapes our world and the reflections of ourselves that we find in it. In the birds, bees and trees, there we find peace. Follow us to the tops of the mountains and depths of the oceans.

Let our experiences shed light on the most breathtaking places to visit and the most peaceful places to unpack and stay for a while. I won’t babble on too long. I will let the rivers do some talking! =)
