Our cat Princess Kiwi, is a five year old predator. She loves to hunt innocent creatures and play mercilessly with them. She is fed a preservative free grain, given reverse osmosis water and unscented natural litter. She loves to lounge lazily outside and chase critters in the grass.

Kiwi is not much of a traveler. We have moved together a total of six times. The car rides have been rough at first but after the first 15 minutes she calms down and rests peacefully. Once we get to our destination it takes her a few days to acclimate to the new scenery. I hope to find outlets to make the constant traveling more comfortable for her. It will be interesting to see how she adapts to the ever changing landscapes.

Its safe to say the big change will be a struggle for her at first, but I could never leave her behind. She has already survived so much in her life. She is a warrior and I know eventually she will find comfort on the road. She spends most of her time outdoors, so as we explore the vast wilderness, we hope she will learn to love it as she loves our safe backyard. She is weary of new people, so we think she will struggle the most while at RV parks, but when boon-docking in the open lands she should do much better.

Stay tuned to see how Kiwi handles the trip and hopefully you will get insight on whether you and your furry friend can travel full time together or not.
